I have had excellent experience with having Stainless Outfitters Inc. build projects for our sailboat. 2024 we had a swim platform built for our IOR 80’s sailboat. Our family now has way more fun swimming off our boat, loading in or out of the dinghy, and we were able to match the lines of the boat and keep it subtle yet functional. The telescoping stairs fold away neatly, and they took my feedback and built in the handholds I wanted. This year I had them fabricate SS hand rails for the cabin top replacing the high-maintenance teak ones. They absolutely nailed the measurements I sent them and turned the project around in a couple of weeks. Pleasure to deal with John and his team. For context, I myself Tig weld marine stainless steel and aluminum projects, but I find value in outfitters completing projects for my boat quickly.
Great service.
Have dealt with Stainless Outfitters Inc. for many years. First rate workmanship. Friendly service, even when busy! Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for stainless-steel work.
Stainless Outfitters Inc. built my swim platform. Excellent customer service and the platform was a perfect fit. Looks great. This is definitely a well-designed product. Over 8000 NM of cruising and almost 4 years, davits and swim platform continue to perform well. Only minor repairs required. Absolutely an essential addition, solidly built and well designed.
Great service and excellent quality of work.
Stainless Outfitters Inc. built a new bow pulpit for my Aerodyne 38. With some minimal information and a few emails locking down a design, they built a beautiful pulpit. The quality is superb, their pricing was great and the turn-around time on the job was amazingly quick. I couldn’t have asked for an easier transaction! I highly recommend them.
This was my first time dealing with this company and they were great at filing my order, shipping, prep, and follow-up.
Built an arch for my sailboat 10 years ago and it still performs and looks like new. I must admit, I abused the heck out of it but to no avail. Rock solid! Highly recommend!
We had several jobs done at Stainless Outfitters Inc. Fair prices, excellent service. These guys are hard workers and aim to do the job right. These guys provide a great service! They understand their client’s needs, and the quality is excellent.
They are a supplier to me, and are very responsive and make me quality products that I can use for my work at WPW. Highly recommend.
Andrew and team where amazing to work with — love supporting an active family business. Had a 16ft wide by 6ft tall curved bar made for our solar panel support — very quick turnaround and respectful to my younger daughter and I at pickup — showed her around the machines and office! Thank you so very much!!
We needed modifications to our boat railings. Got excellent work, weld, polish and fit. Great team, always there to discuss details. These boat railings are quite an art to manufacture, but they still charge very reasonable. Thank you. We are happy.
I have been a customer of Stainless Outfitters Inc. for more than twenty years for custom stainless-steel fabrication. They are fantastic to deal with — very skilled and their prices are more than reasonable and fair for their high-quality work. I give them my highest recommendation!
We installed the stairs yesterday. All I can say is wow! Everything from the packaging, engineering, craftsmanship, fit, finish, and detail was absolutely amazing. The entire system was beyond our expectations and way better than anything we could’ve hoped. You and your team do an amazing job, and Julie and I just want to say thank you!
Great people to deal with. Very accommodating!!!
Excellent job that I’ve got here. These guys know what they do. Highly recommend this business if you need some steel jobs done.
I broke a rudder and was left with only insanely expensive options for repair. A fellow sailor suggested I should visit Stainless Outfitters Inc. and see if they could devise a solution. They centered a new post on part of the old post, put in tangs that were fiberglassed in to add structure and rigidity to the rudder assembly. The new assembly fit perfectly. It has been 5 years since, and I have 0 complaints. I would deal with SO anytime!
I was referred to John at Stainless Outfitters Inc. for a new rudder. My 40-year-old rudder had split. John went far beyond the call of duty fabricating and delivering a beautiful new one for far less $$$ than fiberglass ones. It is now the envy of the marina! He could not do enough to make the experience smooth and convenient for me. I now refer everyone to them for stainless needs and certainly will use them again. An all-round pleasant experience.
I have worked with Stainless Outfitters Inc. for 6 years on numerous public art projects. Their work ethic and highest level of dedication to perfection and their craftsmanship is unparalleled. Also, they always come up with brilliant solutions to technical challenges.
